I went to a conservatory today, and was surprised to see that about forty or so other people were there to take pictures of the beautiful flowers that were there as well. So amongst the hustle and bustle, I managed to snap a few shots that I felt needed to be brought to the world. Hope you like em.

So here’s an old tutorial on how to set up sub surface scattering in Maya.  It was done quite a while ago, but the procedure remains the same.  I figure since I am doing tutorials, why not?

This time I made a tutorial on how to export a camera from Maya out to After effects.  I think this is just one more reason that After Effects is a great and understated program for compositing work.  This is just one of many features that everyone seems to be surprised when I show it to them.  So I figured I needed to be one more person to make this info available.  So here it is, download following screencaps:
